Report reveals when Willian Jose is expected to have his medical at Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur are on the lookout for a new striker since Harry Kane has been ruled out until early April with a hamstring injury.

Kane ruptured his left hamstring tendon in a loss to Southampton back on New Years Day and was forced to undergo surgery, but Spurs have still not signed a replacement.

22 days later and Tottenham have no senior striker at the club, with Lucas Moura currently filling in for Jose Mourinho.

However, there have now been heavy links between Tottenham and Real Sociedad centre-forward Willian Jose.

It was reported by Sports Carousel that the two sides were on the verge of agreeing a €50m deal earlier this week, with Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano also adding that Spurs were in advanced talks.

AS have now reported that Willian Jose was expected in North London for his medical either last night or today ahead of a switch.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Spurs need a striker. This guy is experienced, scores goals, and has the height and strength to be a focal point for attacks. At the moment, Spurs need to take what they can get.
