Report reveals where Levy will turn next in Spurs manager search

The Athletic have revealed that Daniel Levy now wants to get the Tottenham head coach search back on track this summer and will turn towards the original shortlist again.

It is said that this shortlist compiled before the arrival of Fabio Paratici from Juventus included the likes of Graham Potter from Brighton and Erik ten Hag from Ajax.

It has now been over two months since Tottenham sacked Jose Mourinho from the head coach position under a week before the Carabao Cup Final.

Ryan Mason was handed the role on an interim basis while Levy and co searched for a new permanent replacement, however, we still seem no closer to knowing who that will be.

It appears that the Tottenham chairman will now take things back to square one by looking at the original shortlist of potential managers as pre-season inches ever closer.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Either Potter or Ten Hag would be an acceptable appointment at this stage. Spurs need to just get someone in already with pre-season looming. This manager search is getting embarrassing and no big names will go near the job now.
