A new report has revealed that Tottenham youngster, Marcus Edwards, may be on the verge of a move to Udinese on a permanent deal this summer (Tutto Udinese).
This may come as a shock to some Spurs fans as Edwards was once seen as the crown jewel in the Tottenham academy.
However, the youngster has failed to progress in recent years and Pochettino chose not to include him in the pre-season tour this year, despite inviting a vast array of other academy players along.
This would tend to suggest that Poch does not see Edwards as part of his long-term plans at Tottenham, despite comparing him to the great Lionel Messi back in 2016 (Sky Sports).
The 20-year-old attacker has spent the last two seasons on loan to Norwich and Excelsior, but the manager is clearly still not impressed with his man.
It may now just be a case of getting him off the books and moving on with the likes of Troy Parrott, Japhet Tanganga, Jack Roles, and co.
