Report reveals where Nuno’s next job is likely to be after being sacked by Spurs

Le10 Sport have now claimed that Nuno Espirito Santo’s next job is more likely to be in the Premier League than Ligue 1.

Nuno lasted just four months at Spurs after being appointed during the summer, with the 3-0 loss against Manchester United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last month proving the final nail in the coffin for the Portuguese coach.

The Sun claimed two weeks ago that Nuno was keen on a swift return to management after parting company with Spurs.

The report alleged that Nuno’s agent, Jorge Mendes, was eyeing up a move to France, with Lyon and Lille mooted as possible destinations.

However, Le10Sport have now revealed that the former Wolves boss is unlikely to take over a Ligue 1 club anytime soon.

The report explains that the 47-year-old has not had any contact with a French club and does not desire to compete in the Ligue 1.

It is thought that Nuno would prefer to remain in the Premier League and his next job is likely to be in the English top flight.

Spurs Web Opinion

The tremendous job that Nuno did at Wolves over four years has not been erased by his four months at Spurs. The 47-year-old is clearly a better coach than he showed in North London and I sincerely hope he gets another job in England sooner rather than later.
