Report reveals whether Aston Villa vs Tottenham is at risk from Storm Dennis

Tottenham Hotspur are scheduled to be back in action this weekend as they visit Aston Villa in the Premier League after a much-needed winter break.

Spurs were last in action just before the break when they defeated Southampton in a dramatic 3-2 FA Cup win, scoring twice in the final ten minutes to secure a comeback.

Some Premier League clubs have already played their match week 26 games, with Man City having been scheduled to take on West Ham last weekend.

However, the game was postponed due to the effects of Storm Ciara on the country’s travel links and the safety of those attending the match.

The Birmingham Mail have now claimed that a new storm, Storm Dennis, is set to disrupt the country further this weekend, with Villa vs Spurs a potentially disrupted fixture.

However, they add that winds and rain are supposed to calm on Sunday, meaning that the Tottenham game may have a better chance of going ahead than those on Saturday.
