Report reveals whether Daniel Levy will allow Dele Alli to leave Spurs on loan in January

The Telegraph have now reported that Daniel Levy is refusing to allow Dele Alli to join PSG on loan this month due to fears that such a move could leave Tottenham short.

Spurs currently have four main creative number 10 options in Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, Dele Alli and Erik Lamela.

Dele was handed a rare start in the FA Cup match against Marine at the weekend and shone as Tottenham’s main creative outlet.

Spurs fans could have been forgiven for assuming that Dele would play a part against Fulham last night as Jose Mourinho decided to take him off early against Marine.

However, despite chasing the game at 1-1 with 15 minutes left on the clock and with Spurs struggling to create chances, Alli was left on the bench as an unused substitute.

The Telegraph now claim that Levy is worried about potential injuries and COVID-19 outbreaks that could leave his squad short on players and will therefore keep Dele at the club.
