Harry Kane’s future at Tottenham Hotspur has been the subject of many tabloid headlines in recent weeks.
Sky Sports claimed last month that the forward had reiterated his desire to the club to leave this summer and to seek a new challenge away from North London with Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United all said to have made contact with his representative.
It was said that Kane wanted his future sorted before his involvement in Euro 2020.
Football.London claimed last night that it is their understanding that Kane has still not directly told senior figures at Tottenham of his wish to leave the club.
Tottenham are still seeking a new head coach following plenty of twists and turns in their search over the past 61 days.
Chairman Daniel Levy stressed last week that he would protect the club’s interests in the transfer market this summer, with the club intent on keeping the England captain.
