Report reveals whether Serge Aurier will feature for Tottenham against Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur’s right-back crisis seems to be getting worse and worse as the season goes on, with Kyle Walker-Peters now set to miss the North London Derby (Guardian).

While a season ago this would seem like a strange sentence, Walker-Peters has somehow leap-frogged from third-choice at Spurs to regular starter in recent weeks.

This comes after Kieran Trippier was sold to Atletico Madrid and Serge Aurier has not been used at all this summer in pre-season or in the Prem.

The Guardian also claim that Aurier is unlikely to be used against Arsenal this weekend in the NLD, despite Walker-Peters’ injury.

Instead, Poch is said to be considering either Eric Dier or Moussa Sissoko at right-back. Etic Dier broke into the Spurs team at right-back when he first signed, while Sissoko has covered there a few times in the past.

This would tend to imply that Tottenham are open to selling Aurier this summer before the window shuts on September 2.
