Report reveals whether Spurs are looking for any more deadline day signings

The Evening Standard have revealed on their live transfer blog (31/01/22 – 9:40 AM) that Tottenham are keen to strengthen two more positions before the transfer deadline after confirming Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancour.

Tottenham are expected to announce their captures of Kulusevski and Bentancour shortly, with the paperwork reportedly having been completed (Fabrizio Romano).

According to The Mirror, Spurs are also working on deals to offload Giovani Lo Celso, Steven Bergwijn, Tanguy Ndombele, Matt Doherty and Dele Alli before the window slams shut.

This has now been backed up by The Evening Standard on their live blog, with the publication suggesting that shifting players is a ‘priority’ for the North London club today.

However, they add that Antonio Conte’s men have ‘not ruled out’ further incomings before the deadline.

It is suggested that Tottenham could try and get an ‘eleventh-hour deal’ over the line, with a striker and a right wing-back thought to be at the top of the club’s wishlist.

Spurs Web Opinion

I believe we will likely put off our pursuit of a striker until the summer as Kulusevski’s addition gives Conte more options up front. A right wing-back will likely be the Italian’s priority but I do not expect any other additions today apart from the Juve pair.
