Report reveals which Spurs player played ‘prominent role’ in organising team meal

The Daily Mail have now reported that Danny Rose played a prominent role in organising the team and staff meal last week.

The Spurs players, as well as staff including Mauricio Pochettino and Jesus Perez, went out to Novikov Restaurant in Mayfair on Thursday evening, a few days before their loss to Liverpool.

While the team-bonding session clearly did not lead to a win, the margin of loss to the league leaders was an improvement from say the 7-2 hammering at the hands of Bayern.

Although Danny Rose has been out of form this season and looked woeful against Liverpool, he is apparently still a key figure within the Spurs dressing room.

Rose still has over a year remaining on his contract, but it is unclear as to whether Spurs will offer their longest-serving star a new deal, attempt to sell him, or let him leave on a free in 2021.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Danny Rose has a matter of months to prove his worth at Tottenham, otherwise, I would argue that he should be sold in January. With Sessegnon coming into the team and Davies performing well, Rose needs to show improvements and fast.
