Report reveals who Dejan Kulusevski’s Premier League idol is – Chelsea links

The Daily Mail have revealed that Dejan Kulusveski idolises former Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

Kulusevski’s arrival at Spurs was not met with much fanfare and it is safe to say that even the most optimistic of Tottenham fans would not have expected the Swede to have the kind of impact he has.

The winger has added another dimension to Spurs’ attack and his quality in the final third has meant that opposing defences now have an additional threat to worry about apart from Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.

The Daily Mail have revealed that the 21-year-old has always dreamed of playing in the Premier League.

It is claimed that he fell in love with English football because of Hazard and has always admired the Belgian’s technique. Kulusevski is said to be keen on emulating Hazard’s exploits in English football.

The Mail also go on to discuss how the former Juventus man has settled into life at Spurs, explaining that his ability to speak five languages -Swedish, Italian, Macedonian, English and a little German – has helped in that regard.

Some might feel that Kulusevski’s style is quite different to Hazard’s but there are similarities between the two. The Swede might not have Hazard’s low centre of gravity or explosiveness but he is blessed with incredible balance, just like the Belgian, and has the ability to wrong-foot opponents with a drop of the shoulder.
