Report reveals who is favourite to take over as Spurs boss next season

The Daily Mail have reported that RB Leipzig manager, Julian Nagelsmann has been installed as the favourite to take over the Tottenham managerial hot seat next season.

The report claims that the search has already begun for Jose Mourinho’s successor after the Special One was sacked by Tottenham on Monday morning.

It is said that Spurs have admired Nagelsmann for quite some time and was even in the running for the job back in 2019 when Pochettino was sacked.

However, the Daily Mail also claim that RB Leipzig will only let Nagelsmann leave this summer if a fee of around £17m is paid in compensation.

The 33-year-old is thought to be one of the most highly-rated young managers in European football at the moment.

Nagelsmann has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich but it has also been reported that such a move is complicated due to the fact that RB Leipzig are now rivals to the German giants (Football London).
