Report reveals who Levy wants to be in charge of Spurs next season

Football Insider have reported that Daniel Levy is planning to keep Jose Mourinho as the Tottenham Hotspur head coach next season.

This decision is not said to be reliant on how Tottenham finish the current season, with the Lilywhites still fighting for the Carabao Cup and a top-four finish in the Premier League.

The pressure has been on Mourinho of late after his Spurs side were knocked out of the Europa League at the round of 16 stage by Dinamo Zagreb despite going into the second leg two goals to the good.

Football Insider claim that a source within Tottenham has told them that Levy intends to keep Mourinho in the job even if Spurs lose the League Cup final and miss out on Champions League football.

It is said that Levy believes Mourinho is the man for the job when it comes to overseeing a ‘major summer rebuild’ this year. The report adds that only a catastrophe would see Mourinho lose his job in the near future.
