Report: Roma open to letting Tottenham target leave in the summer

After two transfer windows of complete inactivity, it looks like Tottenham might be set to add several new faces to the squad in the summer, ahead of their first full season at their new 62,062-capacity stadium.

One attacking talent who is reported to be a long-term target for Tottenham is Roma forward Cengiz Under.

The 21-year-old has established himself has an important part of the Roma side in the last couple of years, and is currently having another good season, having scored 6 goals and assisted 5 others so far.

According to a report in Calcio Mercato, Roma are open to letting the Turkish international leave the club in the summer for a fee in the region of €40 million.

The report claims that the Italian giants are keen to sell Under in order to give the club more funds to reinvest into their squad.

However, the wide forward is said to be attracting interest from several European clubs including Tottenham’s North London rivals Arsenal, and so pushing a deal over the line for the Under certainly won’t be easy.
