Report: Ruben Neves ready to leave Wolves this summer – Spurs interested

90 min have claimed that Ruben Neves is ready to leave Wolves this summer amidst interest from Tottenham Hotspur and several other Premier League clubs.

Neves has been a consistent performer in the heart of Wolves’ midfield since arriving from Porto back in 2017.

The 25-year-old is currently out with a knee injury but has enjoyed another solid campaign for Bruno Lage’s side, with four goals and two assists in 28 league appearances (Transfermarkt).

90 min claim the midfielder believes the time has come for him to leave Molineux and make a step up in his career. The Portuguese international is thought to have informed Wolves of his desire to explore other options this summer.

It is alleged that Spurs, Arsenal, Manchester United, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are all keeping tabs on Neves but none of these clubs can be considered front-runners as things stand.

Spurs Web Opinion

The fact that Neves only has two years left on his contract with Wolves, likely means that he will not prove too expensive. The 25-year-old would be an excellent fit for Conte’s system and would be preferable to both Youri Tielemans and Yves Bissouma.
