Report: Rumoured Spurs target ‘dreaming’ of working with Mourinho

Tottenham might have just been handed a massive boost in their rumoured chase of Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi with reports from Turkey indicating that the striker is keen to move to Spurs and link up with Jose Mourinho.

Speculation regarding Tottenham’s rumoured move for Muriqi has been heavily mentioned over the past few weeks with reports from Turkey offering updates on the negotiations.

Fotomac (via Sport Witness) claimed last week that Spurs were set to return for Muriqi’s services in the summer after failing to land the Kosovo international in January.

The 24-year-old is reportedly available for around €25 million this summer (Sabah).

A report by Turkish news outlet Fanatik (as relayed by Sport Witness) now claim that Muriqi is a big fan of the Premier League and is dreaming of moving to Tottenham and working with Mourinho, however there is also interest from Napoli and Lazio.

It is said that the striker believes the Spurs boss could be the man to take him to the next level, just like he did with Didier Drogba during his time at Chelsea.

Spurs Web Opinion

Of all the strikers we have been linked with so far, Muriqi seems like the one we are most likely to go for. He will probably be cheaper than the likes of Arkadiusz Milik and Patrik Schick and is a much better target man even though he is not a proven goalscorer at the top level.
