Report: Rumoured Spurs target tempted by offer from Manchester United

Spanish publication AS are reporting that Manchester United have now made an offer to sign rumoured Tottenham Hotspur target Sergio Reguilon, with the left-back reportedly tempted by the prospect of a move to Old Trafford.

Reguilon is reportedly on Tottenham’s radar on the back of his impressive showing on loan at Sevilla last season (ESPN) but signing a left-back is not said to be a priority for Jose Mourinho this summer (Football.London).

AS now report that the defender is likely to leave the Spanish capital this summer as Zinedine Zidane is not convinced by him.

The report suggests that Man Utd have now made an ‘interesting offer’ to sign the Spanish international as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to strengthen at left-back. The 23-year-old is tempted by United’s offer as he is keen to play Champions League football next season.

It is revealed that Sevilla also want to re-sign Reguilon but would prefer to take him on another season-loan rather than a permanent deal.

It is said that while Los Blancos are willing to sell Reguilon for €25-30 million, they would prefer to have a buy-back option in the deal.

It would appear that a central defender, a striker and an attacking midfielder/winger are our priorities for the remainder of the transfer window, so I do not expect us to make a move for Reguilon.
