Report: Ryan Fraser is on the verge of singing for a new club on a free deal

Ryan Fraser is reportedly very close to agreeing on a new deal with an unnamed club, according to a report in Football Insider.

The 26-year-old’s contract with Bournemouth runs out in the summer and both Spurs and their North London rivals Arsenal are said to be keen on signing him.

Football Insider reported last week that the Scotland international has told his friends that he prefers a move to Spurs over the Gunners.

The report claimed that the Lilywhites want to bring in the wide man to replace Erik Lamela, who could be on his way out of the club.

The same publication now reports that the Bournemouth star changed his agent in January and that his new representatives have helped to carve a potential summer move.

It is claimed that a deal is all but done between the winger and an unnamed club, with the report suggesting that it could be one of the two North London clubs.

Spurs Web Opinion

I would be extremely pleased with Fraser’s acquisition as he can be a solid squad player for us. However, if it Spurs that he is reportedly close to signing for, then that would likely rule out a move for Willian.
