ESPN have reported that Saudi Arabian club, Al Ittihad, are readying a mammoth bid for Tottenham’s Heung-min Son.
Amidst a wave of top European players making the move over to the Saudi Arabian league, it appears Tottenham’s number seven could be the latest to receive a mouth-watering offer.
Al Ittihad are reportedly ready to send Spurs a bid of €60m plus bonuses (£51.26m), a source close to the negotiation has told ESPN.
Son himself has apparently been offered a four-year contract worth €30m per season and some within Al Ittihad are optimistic that he could join the club.
Tottenham would not be interested in any Son sale
However, the report claims that Tottenham would not be interested in entertaining an offer for the winger this summer, as he still has a contract in North London until 2025.
Spurs Web Opinion:
There is no way that Tottenham sell Heung-min Son this summer and I really don’t think Son would want to make the move at this stage in his career either.
I could be wrong, but he doesn’t seem to be that money oriented and I expect him to remain in Europe for the foreseeable future.
