Multiple Italian sources are now reporting that Fiorentina are now focused on a deal to sign an alternative attacker to Bryan Gil.
Ever since Timo Werner completed a switch to Tottenham at the start of last week, various journalists have reported that both Fiorentina and Feyenoord are keen on signing Gil on loan until the end of the season (Fabrizio Romano).
If the Spaniard does seal a loan move away from Hotspur Way, it would be his third such move since signing for the club two and half years ago, having had spells at Valencia and Sevilla during the last two seasons.

Fiorentina shift attention away from Spurs’ Bryan Gil
Calciomercato have now said that Gil is not the only option that Viola have set their sights on, with the club’s owner and president Rocco Commisso also alleged to have enquired about Hella Verona’s Cyril Ngonge and Augsburg’s Ruben Vargas.
The outlet suggests that ‘reflections are in progress’, thus suggesting that the Serie A side have not chosen who to pursue.
However, Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed in his latest update that Fiorentina are now pushing ahead with a move for the Verona man.
He says that the Italian side have made ‘new contacts’ over a deal for Ngonge and that they are ready to pay around €8m-€9m for him while Verona are holding out for around €12m-€13m.
He adds that the two clubs are ‘trying to balance’, which suggests that they are on course to strike a deal for the Belgian.
Spurs Web Opinion
I do not think this is a significant development as I am not sure Gil would have been too keen on a switch to Fiorentina anyway. If the 22-year-old does leave Tottenham on loan again this month, he will probably want to head back to Spain once again.
