Report: Serie A club could hold discussions with Paratici over Ndombele

Journalist Carlo Pellegatti has revealed in his column for MilanNews that AC Milan could explore the signing of Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

Fabio Paratici reportedly flew to Italy earlier this week to negotiate the potential sale of Japhet Tanganga and Bryan Gil to Milan and Sampdoria respectively (Daniele Longo).

Pellegatti has now said that Milan might also bring up the subject of Ndombele in their talks with Spurs’ managing director of football.

It became clear that the Frenchman is not in Antonio Conte’s plans after he did not travel with the Tottenham squad on their pre-season tour to South Korea which comes on the back of spending the second half of last season on loan at Lyon.

Pellegatti has now suggested that the 25-year-old could be bound for the San Siro, with the Rossoneri said to be keen on bolstering their options in the middle of the park.

The journalist adds that the Serie A champions would have to discuss the fee and salary details with Paratici, and could view Ndombele as an ‘excellent opportunity’.

Spurs Web Opinion

Unless Ndombele agrees to take a substantial wage cut, I do not see how Spurs would be able to sell him this summer. Milan, at best, would be able to pay him half of what he earns at Spurs. I do not think the north London club will have any choice but to loan out the Frenchman again this summer.
