Report: Serie A club make contact with forward wanted by Fabio Paratici

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter Milan have now made contact over the potential signing of Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram amidst reports that the forward is also on Fabio Paratici’s radar.

Foot Mercato reported last month that Thuram was seen as a ‘priority target’ by Paratici, with Gladbach valuing the Frenchman at €30m (£25.5m).

This was also backed up by Mohamed Bouhafsi, who revealed that Spurs were in talks to sign the 24-year-old.

However, the speculation linking the French international with a move to Spurs has died down over recent weeks and it has now emerged that Inter are on the forward’s trail.

Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed that Simone Inzaghi is keen to add more firepower to his forward line after the capture of Eden Dzeko and the Nerrazuri have set their sights on Thuram.

The report explains that Inter have made contact with the forward’s agent, Mino Riola, about a potential transfer.

However, it is stated that the feasibility of the operation ‘remains to be assessed’ by the Serie A champions.

Spurs Web Opinion

Spurs seem to be quickly running out of forward options they can go for if Kane departs. It is for that reason that I suspect Levy is now unlikely to sanction the England captain’s sale irrespective of what City offer.
