Report: Serie A club ready to sell 26-year-old linked with Spurs

Tuttomercatoweb have claimed that Atalanta are set to cash in on goalkeeper, Pierluigi Gollini, who is rumoured to be on Tottenham’s radar this summer.

Gollini came through the ranks at Manchester United and had a brief spell with Aston Villa in the Championship back in 2016 before going on to establish himself as Atalanta’s number one.

The 26-year-old has been a consistent performer between the sticks for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side over the last few years but reports emerged from Italy a few days ago that Tottenham were one of several Premier League sides interested in the goalkeeper.

TMW have now suggested that Atalanta have decided to cash in on Gollini as he is now surplus to requirements after the Serie A club completed the signing of Juan Musso.

The former Villa shot-stopper is said to be generating plenty of interest, with Everton, Lazio and Fiorentina being named as potential suitors.

Spurs Web Opinion

There still remains a big question mark with respect to our goalkeeping situation next season, with both Lloris and Hart having just 12 months left to run on their contracts. I would expect Hugo to be our number one next season but that does we will be entering the market for a new goalkeeper this summer.
