Report: Serie A club tell Tottenham to pay £13m for attacker this summer

According to GiveMeSport, Tottenham’s pursuit of Samuel Iling-Junior has been boosted as Juventus have decided to cash in on the youngster this summer.

Earlier this week, it was revealed by Tutto Juve that Spurs are eyeing a summer move for Iling-Junior who has struggled to get game time at the Allianz Stadium this summer.

The report claimed that the Lilywhites could face competition from Brighton and Hove Albion for the England Under-21 international.

Juventus will sell Iling-Junior for just £13m

GiveMeSport have now backed up Tottenham’s interest in Iling-Junior, revealing that Ange Postecoglou is keen to add another wide option to his squad.

The report says that the Premier League club have received a boost after hearing that Juve are now ready to offload the 20-year-old when the transfer window reopens.

This is because the Chelsea academy graduate does not feature in Massimiliano Allegri’s plans, with the Bianconeri alleged to have informed Spurs they will be able to sign the player for £13m.

The publication adds that Illing-Junior will only stay in Turin if the Serie A giants decide to part ways with Allegri this summer.

Spurs Web Opinion

I would be quite underwhelmed if Iling-Junior is our marquee wide-forward signing this summer. While the youngster has plenty of potential, Spurs need a game-changing signing such as Nico Williams or Antonio Nusa.
