Moussa Sissoko had a season to remember at Tottenham Hotspur after a remarkable turnaround in form to become somewhat of a fan favourite last campaign.
Italian newspaper Leggo are claiming that Serie A giants Roma are interested in the French international.
Sissoko’s industrious performances in the middle of midfield were recognised by his peers when he secured the Tottenham Legends’ player of the award last season.
The 29-year-old recently put his improvement in form down to the fact that he refuses to give up and believes that his recently-found confidence has allowed him to grow as a player (Evening Standard).
The report claims that Roma’s Technical Director Franco Baldini, who was formerly with Tottenham, had inquired about Sissoko’s availability while discussing a possible move for fellow Spur, Toby Alderweireld.

Spurs may have already signed Tanguy Ndombele to strengthen their central midfield but it is highly unlikely that they would be willing to let Moussa Sissoko go after the season he just had.
Ndombele and Sissoko lining up together in the middle of the park will certainly be a scary proposition for the opposition.
