Report: Serie A club will look to sell rumoured Spurs target in January

The Daily Mail has revealed that Arkadiusz Milik, who was rumoured to be on Tottenham’s radar this summer, is likely to leave Napoli during the January transfer window.

According to Football.London’s Alasdair Gold, Milik was one of two main striker targets Spurs had chosen towards the end of the transfer window, with the other being Carlos Vinicius.

Spurs eventually snapped up the latter just days before the European transfer window shut on an initial loan deal from Benfica with an option to make it permeant next summer (BBC).

Tuttomercatoweb claimed last week that Tottenham could return with an offer for the Polish international during the January transfer window but the report suggested that Milik may prefer to wait until next summer and leave as a free agent after running his contract down.

However, The Daily Mail has listed the 26-year-old among the names that could be on the move in January. They give the striker a 4/5 chance of leaving Napoli when the January transfer window opens, with the Serie A club said to be keen on moving him on.
