Report: Six Spurs PL fixtures rescheduled for TV coverage in August/September

Tottenham Hotspur have had six of their Premier League games moved as a result of being selected for live TV broadcast in August and September, it has been confirmed (Spurs Official).

Spurs begin their Premier League campaign by hosting Southampton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday August 6th, before facing rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Now the Lilywhites have had their television picks confirmed by the Premier League and their relevant broadcast holders for the first two months of the season.

What matches have been moved?

Tottenham have eight matches in August and September and six of them have been moved for TV purposes.

  • Chelsea (A) – now Sunday 14 August, kick-off 4.30 pm – Sky Sports
  • Wolves (H) – remains Saturday 20 August, kick-off now 12.30 pm – BT Sport
  • Nottingham Forest (A) – now Sunday 28 August, kick-off 4.30 pm – Sky Sports
  • West Ham United (A) – now Wednesday 31 August, kick-off 7.45 pm – BT Sport
  • Manchester City (A) – remains Saturday 10 September, kick-off now 5.30 pm – Sky Sports
  • Leicester City (H) – remains Saturday 17 September, kick-off now 5.30 pm – Sky Sports

Spurs Web Opinion:

Tottenham will certainly be easy to watch for the first couple of months of the season, with six out of eight fixtures live on TV. Hopefully, they are great games to watch for the Spurs faithful, with plenty of points in the bag.
