Report: Six Spurs players could still be in action this weekend – Destiny Udogie

English football has entered a period of mourning following the tragic death of Queen Elizabeth II this week, with Tottenham’s fixture against Man City being postponed.

However, there are still fixtures being played across the continent, some of which may still involve the Spurs players currently out on loan.

So let’s take a look at the six players in question (Football London)…

Destiny Udogie – Perhaps the hottest property out on loan from Tottenham at the moment, Destiny Udogie travels with Udinese to Sassuolo on Sunday at 2 pm. He will be looking to follow up on the goal he scored in the 4-0 thrashing of Jose Mourinho’s Roma last week.

Tanguy Ndombele – It has been yet another difficult start to life out on loan for Ndombele this summer, with the Frenchman having to make do with a place on the bench more often than not. Against Liverpool in mid-week, he was even left as an unused substitute. But he will be hoping for minutes against Speiza today.

Joe Rodon – Rennes take on Auxerre on Sunday following a difficult start for Joe Rodon in France. Although he scored his first goal against Brest recently, his performances have been inconsistent since the summer loan.

Sergio Reguilon – As he recovers from a groin injury, Reguilon will be hoping to make his Atletico Madrid debut this weekend against Celta Vigo at 8 pm on Saturday. It remains to be seen whether he makes the squad.

Giovani Lo Celso – Lo Celso and Villarreal are set to play on Sunday evening against Real Betis, his former club. The Argentine scored last weekend and will be looking to keep the theme going.

Alfie Whiteman – The Spurs shot-stopper plays for Degerfors in Sweden and will face Mjallby on Saturday as they look to climb up the table and away from the threat of the relegation zone.

Harry Winks – CalcioMercato reveal he is nursing an ankle injury which is why he is yet to make his Sampdoria debut.

Spurs Web Opinion:

If I could watch any of these to get my Spurs fix, it would definitely be Udogie. He has looked class for Udinese this season and seems a very exciting prospect at left-wing-back.
