Report: Sky Sports on Kane’s prospects of starting against Burnley

Tottenham received a huge boost this week as Harry Kane returned to first-team training. The striker has missed over a month of football after picking up an ankle injury during Spurs’ 1-0 loss to Manchester United.

There were fears that Tottenham could struggle without their talisman, but the team have kept grinding out results in the Premier League in Kane’s absence. He was initially expected to return to action in March but the England captain is once again back ahead of schedule.

The question now in Spurs fans’ minds is if Kane will start the game at Turf Moor this weekend, come on from the bench or be rested entirely.

According to Sky Sports News, Pochettino and his staff will take a call on Kane’s involvement in the game after assessing him post Friday’s training session.

Given Son Heung-Min’s and Fernando Llorente’s recent form, Pochettino certainly wouldn’t want to rush the 25-year-old back too quickly.
