Report: Some of the most likely destinations for Mauricio Pochettino

Mauricio Pochettino was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday evening after five and a half years at the club.

In his time in North London, he helped transform Tottenham into Champions League regulars, and the Argentine has received a lot of praise for managing to do that despite the budgetary restrictions and the problems due to the construction of a new stadium.

It comes as no surprise that Pochettino is considered to be one of the best coaches in the world which is likely to attract the interest of some of the top clubs in European football.

The Daily Mail claim that Bayern Munich is the Argentine’s most likely destination with the Bundesliga giants ready to pounce on him immediately after recently parting company with Niko Kovac; the man who helped his side to put seven goals past Spurs.

However, it is claimed that Manchester United and Real Madrid are both huge admirers of the 47-year-old and could offer him a job in the near future.

The report claims that a move to his former club PSG is unlikely since the Parisians are in impressive form under Thomas Tuchel.

Spurs Web Opinion

It’s certainly not surprising that many clubs would want Pochettino as he has been the best manager Tottenham have had in the Premier League era. The Argentine has always behaved in a dignified manner during his five years at the club and I am sure Spurs fans will wish him success wherever he goes next.
