Report: Some Spurs and West Ham fans clash in ugly scenes outside the stadium

The Daily Express have revealed that Tottenham and West Ham fans clashed outside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ahead of the Carabao Cup quarterfinal.

Spurs overcame West Ham 2-1 after a hard-fought game to book a place in the semifinal of the competition where they will take on Chelsea in a two-legged tie.

However, it looks like the match was overshadowed by some ugly incidents off the pitch.

According to the Express, there are videos doing the rounds on social media showing the two sets of supporters getting involved in brawls.

In one of the videos, which was filmed ahead of the match, some Spurs fans can allegedly be heard chanting as two sets of fans clash outside the ground.

It is revealed that in the video, one individual was seen lying unconscious on the road.

Another video is said to show some supporters walking towards the stadium while a couple of fans clash with the police.

The report states that both videos had some law enforcement personal asking the fans to “get back”.

If the Police have video evidence, I hope the fans in question are apprehended and punished. Incidents like these have no place in modern football and give a bad name to the majority of the supporters, who just want to enjoy a nice evening out and support their teams.
