Report: Some Spurs players not impressed with Poch and believe he has an agenda

Tottenham Hotspur may have been enduring a bad season anyway, but the defeat to Colchester in the Carabao Cup this week was a new low for the North London club.

Spurs were knocked out by the League 2 outfit, the lowest-ranked side still left in the competition, which didn’t sit too well with many fans.

Pochettino came out after the match and stated that there were different agendas in the squad, referring to some Spurs stars who want out (BBC).

However, a report from the Sun has now claimed that a source close to a number of Spurs players disagrees with this statement.

This source says that Pochettino’s agenda comments have not impressed some players who feel as if it is the Argentine with an agenda.

Apparently, a number of Tottenham players believe Poch will walk out at the first chance he gets, the opposite to Eriksen who has always been upfront and honest.

The source said: “They feel Poch is the one with an agenda.

“They are not impressed with him at all and what he said has not helped at all.

“The players feel Christian was always being upfront and honest about wanting to leave.

“Some of the players feel that Poch does not like it if he doesn’t get his own way.”

Spurs Web Opinion:

This report sounds less than reputable to me. I doubt that Poch has lost the dressing room and I think recent reports are blowing the Spurs ‘crisis’ way out of proportion. The squad simply needs refreshing with some new faces and some old players sold.
