Report: Sources claim player feels he is being mistreated by Mourinho

Jose Mourinho recalled Tanguy Ndombele to his side for Saturday’s Premier League clash at Burnley.

It was the first top flight match which the Frenchman had started since the 2-0 defeat against Chelsea on February 22nd (transfermarkt).

The club record signing hardly covered himself in glory during his first half performance against the Clarets which saw the home side dominate the first half.

The Spurs head coach took swift action following the half time whistle when he hauled off the former Lyon player and singled him out for criticism when speaking to the media at the end of the match.

Mourinho claimed that he cannot keep giving the midfielder opportunities to play if he continues to fail to give more to the cause (Sky Sports).

The Athletic claim that sources close to the Tottenham midfielder claim that Ndombele requires more careful management and there is a feeling that Mourinho is being particularly hard with him on and off the pitch.

It is not the first time in which Mourinho has spoken in a negative manner about the player, he claimed in December that Ndombele is never fully fit (The Sun).
