According to Football Insider, Juventus could accept Tottenham Hotspur’s offer for 20-year-old English star Samuel Iling-Junior.
The young English winger joined Juventus in 2020 from the Chelsea youth setup. He has made 22 appearances for the Juventus first team so far, scoring one goal and providing three assists in 671 minutes of football (Transfermarkt).
Bianconera News revealed a few days ago that the Italian giants wanted to offload the youngster in January rather than next summer. Juventus apparently do not want to miss out on ‘an opportunity’ to cash in.
Gazzetta dello Sport claimed last Wednesday that the Serie A giants would be willing to sell the winger for €15m (£13.1m) since he has refused to sign a new contract.
TuttoMercatoWeb suggested on Thursday that a transfer looks more ‘probable’ for the 20-year-old after Tottenham entered the race. The Cobham graduate, who has a contract at Juventus until 2025, wants to leave the Italian giants in search of regular game time (Il Bianconero).
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is said to be a ‘huge fan’ of the young English winger (The Independent). However, Spurs are set to face competition from the likes of Aston Villa, Fulham and Everton for the signature of Iling-Junior (TEAMtalk).

Juventus ‘need to sell’ amidst Tottenham interest
The Football Insider report claims that Juventus’ precarious financial situation following their Serie A points deduction means they could be forced to part ways with Samuel Iling-Junior should the right offer arrive.
Considering the interest that the 20-year-old is garnering, Juventus are holding out for an “attractive bid”. Spurs have identified him as a top target and could be willing to spend money to bring him in January.
Spurs Web Opinion
Considering Juventus’ need to sell, we can play the long game and try and get Iling-Junior at a lower fee. That said, interest from other Premier League clubs means we need to be on our toes for any situation that may arise.
A very talented youngster, Iling-Junior can help Tottenham alleviate the injury issues on the left wing. He can also deputise for Dejan Kulusevski on the right if the need arises. We must get this deal done at the right price though.
