Report: Spanish outlet claims Premier League club will offer £20.5m for Spurs star

Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen has undoubtedly been one of the very best playmakers in the Premier League over the past decade, but his time in North London may be inching towards a close.

Eriksen’s current contract runs out in the summer of 2020, meaning that he will leave on a free transfer if a new deal or a sale is not agreed by then.

The Great Dane will also be able to talk to potential new clubs in January about a pre-contract agreement, although he would have to wait until the end of the season to talk to English outfits such as Manchester United.

Man United are reportedly still interested in signing the playmaker and are planning on launching a bid for him in the new year.

El Desmarque claim that United are willing to offer £20.5m for the midfield man, but the value is irrelevant as they also add that Eriksen will turn down any United move.
