According to 90 min, Tottenham are one of several clubs across the continent that have sent scouts to watch Bologna left-back Aaron Hickey this season.
Hickey has earned rave reviews since leaving Hearts to join Bologna in the summer of 2020, with the 19-year-old establishing himself as a regular in the Serie A club’s starting eleven this season.
The versatile Scotsman has featured at left-back, right-back and further forward for the Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side this season.
According to 90 min, it is Hickey’s versatility that makes him such a sought-after talent, with the youngster’s ability with both feet making him a unique prospect in the eyes of several clubs.
The report explains that Tottenham face competition from all of their ‘Bix 6’ rivals for the youngster’s services ahead of the summer transfer window.
In addition, the teenager is also said to be attracting interest from the likes of Juventus, Napoli and Bayern Munich.
It is asserted that Hickey is happy with life in Serie A for now but sees a move to the Premier League as the next step in his career.
