Report: Spurs among three offers on the table for goalkeeper

According to Calciomercato, Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini has three options on the table, including one from Tottenham Hotspur.

Gollini came through the ranks at Manchester United and had a brief spell with Aston Villa in the Championship back in 2016 before going on to establish himself as Atalanta’s number one.

The 26-year-old has been a consistent performer between the sticks for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side over the last few years and his performances have reportedly attracted Tottenham’s attention.

Some sources from Italy previously suggested that Atalanta could cash in on Gollini as he is now surplus to requirements after the Serie A club completed the signing of Juan Musso.

Calciomercato have now reiterated the same, suggesting that Gollini could return to the Premier League this summer.

Apart from Spurs, the goalkeeper reportedly also has two other offers on the table from Wolves and Everton.

It is alleged that Atalanta are holding out for an offer of around €20m (£17.1m) for the Italian shot-stopper.

Spurs Web Opinion

I do expect Lloris to be our number one next season but I think we could well be in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer after Paulo Gazzaniga’s departure.

While Gollini is a talented shot-stopper, it would be a challenge to convince him to serve as Lloris’ understudy for a year or two.
