According to Calciomercato, Tottenham were alongside Liverpool and Newcastle in scouting Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic this weekend.
The report claims all three Premier League outfits had representatives in attendance for La Viola’s clash against Juventus on Saturday to keep tabs on the striker said to be worth upwards of €60 million (£51.4m).
Vlahovic played the full 90 minutes of action at the Allianz Stadium, but could not get on the scoresheet as his side lost 1-0, with Juan Cuadrado’s tally in stoppage time proving to be the difference.
However, Calciomercato’s report does not mention Arsenal’s presence at Fiorentina’s Serie A encounter at the weekend, after reports linking the 21-year-old to the red side of North London.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported this week that the Gunners reached an agreement to bring Vlahovic to the Emirates Stadium, but noted that the striker’s representatives are keen to wait and see whether better offers arrive in the summer.
Spurs Web Opinion
Vlahovic is fast becoming a highly sought after striker due to his form over the last couple of seasons, as well as him looking unlikely to sign a new contract with Fiorentina. Spurs will have to shell out a pretty big fee with so many clubs interested in him.
