Report: Spurs among three Premier League clubs interested in Scottish starlet

According to Football Scotland, Tottenham Hotspur hold a serious interest in snapping up Celtic starlet Mitchel Frame.

Frame has been in the Hoops’ academy since he was just eight and the left-back is regarded as one of the best young prospects in Scotland.

The 15-year-old has won many admirers with his performance for the Celtic youth sides as well as Scotland’s Under-16s.

Football Scotland report that Celtic could be about to lose the teenager who is set to continue his development down south.

The report reveals that Tottenham have offered the youngster a three-year professional contract.

However, it is explained that the North Londoners face competition from Crystal Palace and Wolves, who have also offered Frame a similar deal.

All three Premier League clubs are said to be ‘keen’ to win the race for the Celtic academy graduate.

Tottenham’s interest in Frame has also been confirmed by journalist Pete O’Rourke, who revealed that Wolves are the Lilywhites’ main competitors for the youngster’s signature.

Spurs have lost a top young left-back prospect in Dennis Cirkin to Sunderland last year. Snapping up Frame could make up for that loss but a deal will not prove easy given that the Scottish starlet seems to have caught the attention of multiple Premier League clubs.
