Report: Spurs and Arsenal both looking at signing 23-year-old this summer

Foot Mercato have reported that both Tottenham and Arsenal are now looking at potentially signing RB Leipzig midfield man, Christopher Nkunku this summer.

Nkunku has appeared 32 times for the German club this season across all competitions, boasting an impressive seven goals and eight assists in that time (TransferMarkt).

It is said that these performances have not gone unnoticed among European clubs and a summer transfer to England is not unlikely.

The report claims that both sides of North London have shown interest in the midfielder while Man United are also interested in Nkunku. In fact, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be a personal fan of the 23-year-old.

It has been reported that Nkunku currently has a £34m release clause in his contract.

However, the player’s agent is none other than Pini Zahavi, the man who brokered Mourinho’s move to Spurs back in 2019. Zahavi is also the current agent of Spurs star, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
