Report: Spurs and Arsenal expected to knock on club’s door for 23-year-old winger

According to Turkish publication Aksam, Tottenham Hotspur are expected to push ahead with a move for Galatasaray winger Kerem Akturkoglu this summer.

Akturkoglu’s performances in the Super Lig over the last two seasons have catapulted him into the limelight.

The winger has amassed 11 goals and nine assists across all competitions this season (Transfermarkt) and has also become an important part of the Turkish national side.

Aksam claim the 23-year-old’s days at Galatasaray are numbered, with Spurs and Arsenal both sending scouts to run the rule over the player this season.

It is asserted that both North London clubs will knock on Galatasaray’s door for the wide-man when the transfer window reopens.

In addition, Akturkoglu is also said to be on the radars of Lyon, Atletico Madrid and Wolfsburg, with the report adding that the number of suitors are ‘increasing day by day’.

It is revealed that Galatasaray have already knocked back an offer of €15m (£12.4m) from Wolfsburg for the player as they value him at more than €20m (£16.6m).
