According to 90 min, the attacking midfielder’s impressive form this season has made him one of the most in-demand players in European football at present.

The report states that Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City are all eyeing Veiga and those clubs have now been joined in the race by Manchester United, Newcastle, Brighton and Brentford, who have watched the youngster in action recently.

In addition, Real Madrid and Barcelona are also said to be keen on snapping up the 20-year-old while Napoli, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also allegedly ready to enter the race for the attacking midfielder’s signature.

The publication reveals that Celta are open to cashing in on Veiga this summer, with the midfielder thought to have a release clause of €40m (£35.1m) in his contract.

Veiga’s profile is quite similar to that of other young players like Bryan Gil and Destiny Udogie, who Paratici has taken a punt on.

So, one cannot rule out Tottenham making an offer for the Celta youngster but the 20-year-old might be hesitant to leave La Liga so early in his career.
