Report: Spurs and Burnley investigating alleged racism from 13-year-old towards Son

Tottenham Hotspur had another standout match under Jose Mourinho this weekend, with the Lilywhites dismantling Burnley 5-0 at the new stadium.

A brace from Harry Kane and another goal from Moussa Sissoko were both overshadowed by Heung Min Son’s potential goal of the season contender in the first half.

Picking the ball up in his own defensive third, with countless Burnley bodies between him and the goal, as well as little in the way of support, few would have been expecting what happened next.

Son motored past the first couple of Burnley men, and again, and again, and again, before he was suddenly bearing down on goal just 12 seconds after setting off 80 yards back.

The South Korean made no mistake and slotted it home, but it wasn’t all smiles for the winger, as one 13-year-old Burnley fan was reportedly thrown out of the ground for racist gestures towards Son (Sky Sports).

Now under investigation, Burnley claim they will contact the teenager and his family.
