Report: Spurs and Chelsea ‘considering’ move for £50m striker – AC Milan and Napoli interested

It was reported earlier today by the Mirror that Tottenham and Chelsea were to be offered a chance to sign Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic.

Jovic was signed from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer for a fee in excess of £50m, but has failed to hit the ground running in Spain (Independent).

The Serbian striker scored 27 goals in 48 games for the Bundesliga club in the 2018/19 season, but has only managed two goals in 25 appearances for Los Blancos this campaign (Wikipedia).

On top of this, it has also been reported that Jovic was forced to apologise to the club when he broke his self-isolation this month in order to fly back home to Serbia (Mirror).

Mundo Deportivo have now expanded on this transfer story, stating that Spurs and Chelsea are indeed ‘considering’ a move for the goalscorer (relayed by Daily Star).

They add that AC Milan and Napoli are also ‘very interested’ in signing the Real Madrid man this summer.
