Report: Spurs ‘are admirers’ of midfielder who has expressed transfer desire

90 min have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Lorient star Enzo Le Fee, who has expressed a desire to leave the French club in the summer.

Le Fee has developed impressively since breaking into Lorient’s first team back in 2019 and has been extremely consistent since the club’s promotion to Ligue 1 three years ago.

The versatile attacking midfielder, who has also operated in a box-to-box role, and occasionally even as a right wing-back, has four goals and five assists in 28 league appearances this season (Transfermarkt).

The 23-year-old, who will enter the final 12 months of his contract at Stade du Moustoir this June, told L’Equipe last week that he intends to leave his boyhood club in the summer to take the next step in his career.

90 min have now claimed that Le Fee’s statement has piqued the interest of several Premier League clubs, including Spurs, who are said to be ‘admirers’ of the player.

The publication adds that Tottenham are far from the only club who have their eye on the Frenchman, with the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle United, Fulham and Wolves also monitoring his situation.

Finalising summer transfer targets would be the last thing on the Tottenham hierarchy’s mind at the moment, with the club now without a head coach and with Fabio Paratici taking leave

The priority for Levy would be to sort out those situations first so that there is some clarity on the overall strategy while making footballing decisions such as player recruitment.
