Report: Spurs are discussing potential sell-on clause and loan during transfer talks

TyC Sports reporter Alejo Veliz German Garcia Grova has revealed that Alejo Veliz has agreed a five-year deal with Tottenham Hotspur ahead of a potential transfer to North London.

The speculation linking the Rosoria Central starlet with a move to Spurs has been intensifying over the last 24 hours, with some outlets even suggesting that the negotiations between the two clubs are now at their final stages (Matteo Moretto).

London World journalist  Rahman Osman claimed on Thursday that Spurs were at the front of the queue to sign the 19-year-old ahead of both AC Milan and Torino, adding that the Argentine club want £12m for the player.

Personal terms agreed between Spurs and Veliz

Grova has now taken to social media to reveal that Veliz has already agreed to a deal until 2028 with Tottenham. The journalist added, however, that Spurs and Rosario Central are still yet to hammer out an agreement for the teenager’s transfer.

The two parties are said to be discussing details such as bonuses, sell-on clauses, and whether the striker would be loaned back to his boyhood club until the end of the year.

If Tottenham are willing to loan Veliz back to Rosario Central for the rest of the season, one would expect this deal to be concluded swiftly. However, Levy and the Spurs hierarchy have tended not to be fans of adding any sell-on clauses to deals.
