GiveMeSport have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur could push ahead with a move for Ivan Toney in the summer if they find out that Arsenal and Chelsea are prioritising other strikers instead in the summer.
Over the past few weeks, various outlets have suggested that Spurs could battle it out with several of the Premier League’s biggest clubs for Toney’s signature in the summer (HITC).
GiveMeSport now say that while Spurs are continuing to monitor the Brentford star, they have no interest in getting involved in a bidding war for the 27-year-old.

Spurs are hoping for a free run at Ivan Toney
Interestingly, the publication suggests that Spurs are hopeful that they could have a ‘clear run’ at Toney as Arsenal and Chelsea are also looking at other centre-forwards.
If their two London rivals look elsewhere, it is alleged that Ange Postecoglou’s men ‘could up the ante’ for the England international and test Brentford’s resolve with an offer.
The report adds that while Tottenham are not seeking a like-for-like replacement for Harry Kane, their plans could change if Toney’s availability becomes clear.
The publication asserts that Spurs are admirers of the Bees star and the belief at Hotspur Way is that he would be a good fit for Postecoglou’s system.
Spurs Web Opinion
Tottenham have the financial means to compete with Chelsea and Arsenal as the Lilywhites are in a strong position with respect to Profit and Sustainability regulations.
Having said that, I am not sure if the club will want to spend a substantial chunk of their summer transfer budget on a centre-forward.
