Football Insider have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur remain in regular contact with Tosin Adarabioyo as they look to push through a deal to sign the Fulham star this summer.
Over the past couple of weeks, a number of outlets have reported that Spurs are keen on securing Adarabioyo’s signature and that the centre-back is open to joining the Lilywhites (Football.London).
Just a couple of days ago, Fabrizio Romano revealed that Adarabioyo had turned down Fulham’s new contract offers and had made his mind up to leave Craven Cottage on a free transfer in the summer.
Spurs in regular dialogue with Adarabioyo
Football Insider have claimed that Spurs are now laying the groundwork on a summer deal for Adarabioyo and are in regular contact with the Englishman’s camp.
The report says that the likes of Liverpool, AC Milan and Monaco are also eyeing the defender but Ange Postecoglou’s men are keen to climb ‘into pole position’ to land the player.
The publication adds that the North London side are now ‘working in the background’ with Adarabiyo’s entourage over a potential deal.
Spurs Web Opinion
Adarabioyo would be Spurs’ top centre-back target as he ticks a number of boxes, being homegrown, quick and good on the ball. If the Fulham star is willing to come to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the deal is a no-brainer for Postecoglou’s men.
