Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping tabs on Championship winger, Jarrod Bowen, as the Hull City man is enjoying yet another impressive season.

The Daily Mail state that Spurs are one of four Premier League clubs interested in the scoring machine, including Arsenal, Newcastle, and Aston Villa.

Bowen is said to be rated at just £20m, but Hull are attempting to sign the player up to a new deal, doubling his current salary to ward off Premier League interest.

Bowen has been in magical form this season, as he currently sits as the third-highest goalscorer in the Championship. He has bagged 16 goals and five assists in 28 games (Transfer Markt).

Proving not to be a one-season wonder, the 23-year-old also managed an impressive 22 goals and four assists in 46 Championship games last season (Transfer Markt).

Spurs Web Opinion:

This lad looks like the real deal, is available at a decent price, and doesn’t look to be getting promoted with Hull City any time soon. I believe he could be a hit in the Premier League, much like James Maddison and Jack Grealish in the past year. It could be a case of taking the risk now or watching another team profit for Spurs.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. In the last few seasons we have missed out on brooks( sheff united to bournemouth)and maddison, who went to leicester, because we didn’t think any of them was worth 20m,same with this lad,he will sign for another premier league club, score a few goals against us and we will be after him but quoted about 50m.We have learnt nothing since signing ali.

  2. I would say it’s more like will dl be prepared to put up and the answer yet again will be – no. So yet again we will miss out. So a well run club like Liverpool go from strength to strength and we just crumble.
