Report: Spurs are ‘keeping tabs’ on Championship winger who scored 22 last season

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping tabs on Championship winger, Jarrod Bowen, as the Hull City man is enjoying yet another impressive season.

The Daily Mail state that Spurs are one of four Premier League clubs interested in the scoring machine, including Arsenal, Newcastle, and Aston Villa.

Bowen is said to be rated at just £20m, but Hull are attempting to sign the player up to a new deal, doubling his current salary to ward off Premier League interest.

Bowen has been in magical form this season, as he currently sits as the third-highest goalscorer in the Championship. He has bagged 16 goals and five assists in 28 games (Transfer Markt).

Proving not to be a one-season wonder, the 23-year-old also managed an impressive 22 goals and four assists in 46 Championship games last season (Transfer Markt).

Spurs Web Opinion:

This lad looks like the real deal, is available at a decent price, and doesn’t look to be getting promoted with Hull City any time soon. I believe he could be a hit in the Premier League, much like James Maddison and Jack Grealish in the past year. It could be a case of taking the risk now or watching another team profit for Spurs.
