HITC report that Tottenham Hotspur have now joined the race to sign Feyenoord midfielder Quinten Timber, who is the twin brother of Arsenal defender Jurrien.
Timber played a key role in Feyenoord’s title win in 2022-23 and the midfielder has since hit even greater heights for Arne Slot’s men this season, with six goals and six assists in 23 Eredivisie games so far (Transfermarkt).
That has allegedly brought the 22-year-old to the attention of Premier League sides, with HITC saying that Arsenal are keen on uniting the Feyenoord star with his twin brother at the Emirates.

However, the outlet adds that the Gunners now face competition from their North London rivals, with Spurs now also paying ‘close attention’ to the youngster’s progress.
The report explains that while Timber might be Premier League-bound in the summer, it is now unclear where he will end up, with Newcastle also allegedly ready to join the London duo in the race.
The publication adds that the Magpies scouts have watched the Feyenoord star in action this season at De Kuip and have issued ‘glowing reports’ about the player.
Spurs Web Opinion
I am always sceptical of any potential imports from Eredivisie as not a lot of players arriving from Dutch football have found the transition to the Premier League to be easy over recent years.
Having said that, there is no doubt that Timber has a high ceiling and Postecoglou might fancy his chances of getting the best out of the 22-year-old.
